Heritage Oaks is a 50 unit (LIHTC) senior community apartment located in Oakdale, CA. The three-story property includes socializing areas, gourmet kitchens, game rooms, a theatre, computer center, men’s tool shop, craft room, and an exercise facility. The outdoor living space features relaxing seating areas, decorated by elegant landscaping, soothing water fountains, luscious herb gardens, and a fully equipped BBQ center.

Adroit Development directed the pre-development and provided project management services, in addition to being the general contractor. Construction commenced in July of 2011 and was completed in May 2012. The project incorporated the latest construction techniques and components, including: fiber cement siding, variable speed air conditioning systems, interior and exterior LED lighting with automatic controls, keyless electronic access controls, and a 40 kW solar power system.

Heritage Oaks drew national attention when the project earned the prestigious Platinum award from the US Green Building Council (“USGBC”) for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (“LEED”). Heritage Oaks has gone to earn numerous awards including; National Association of Homebuilders (NAHB), Pacific Coast Builders Conference (“PCBC”) and the Editor of Multifamily Executive (MFE) magazine’s choice for Community of the Year.
